ATJustice Fair Business Standards
License Terms and Conditions

These Terms & Conditions (“Terms”) govern the limited, revocable, non-exclusive license granted by ATJustice (“ATJustice,” “we,” or “us”) to the company accepting these Terms (“Company,” “you,” or “Licensee”) to display the ATJustice Committed to Excellence Shield logo (“Shield Logo”). By registering on the ATJustice website and using the Shield Logo, you agree to be legally bound by these Terms.

1. License Grant. ATJustice grants Licensee a royalty-free, non-transferable, non-sublicensable, revocable license to use the Shield Logo solely to identify Licensee as committed to ATJustice’s Fair Business Standards (“Standards”), subject to full compliance with these Terms.

2. Eligibility Requirements. To qualify for and maintain this license, Licensee must:

  1. Register on the ATJustice website with accurate and up-to-date information;

  2. Commit to complying with ATJustice’s Fair Business Standards;

  3. Certify compliance with at least thirty-two (32) of the thirty-five (35) applicable Guidelines accompanying the Standards;

  4. Agree that ATJustice may monitor compliance based on consumer complaints and/or investigation;

  5. Agree to promptly cease all use of the Shield Logo if Licensee becomes non-compliant or if ATJustice determines, in its sole discretion, that Licensee no longer meets the Standards and compliance threshold; and

  6. Renew or update registration and compliance certification no later than December 31, 2026, or immediately stop using the Shield Logo.

3. Proper Use. Licensee may use the Shield Logo:

  • Only in connection with Licensee’s own products, services, advertising, websites, and marketing materials;

  • Only in the form and style provided by ATJustice; and

  • Only in a manner that is lawful, non-deceptive, and consistent with ATJustice’s brand values.

Any modification or distortion of the Shield Logo is prohibited without ATJustice’s prior written consent.

4. Revocation and Termination. ATJustice may suspend or revoke this license at any time and in its sole discretion, including but not limited to:

  • Failure to maintain compliance with the Standards or at least 32 Guidelines;

  • Failure to complete a required renewal or recertification; or

  • Misuse of the Shield Logo.

Upon revocation or expiration, Licensee must immediately discontinue all display, distribution, and publishing of the Shield Logo, including removal from digital and physical materials.

5. No Endorsement. Licensee acknowledges that use of the Shield Logo does not constitute an endorsement, guarantee, or certification by ATJustice of Licensee’s products or services, and Licensee must not imply otherwise.

6. Intellectual Property Rights. All rights, title, and interest in the Shield Logo remain solely with ATJustice.
No rights are granted except as expressly stated in these Terms.

7. Representations & Warranties. Licensee represents that:

  • All compliance certifications submitted to ATJustice are truthful and accurate;

  • Licensee will promptly update ATJustice if any facts change that affect eligibility.

8. Indemnification. Licensee agrees to indemnify, defend, and hold harmless ATJustice from any claims, damages, or liabilities arising from Licensee’s use or misuse of the Shield Logo or violation of these Terms.

9. Governing Law. These Terms shall be governed by and interpreted under the laws of the State of [Insert State], without regard to its conflict-of-laws rules.

10. Entire Agreement. These Terms constitute the entire agreement regarding Licensee’s use of the Shield Logo and supersede all prior or contemporaneous agreements related thereto.

By registering for the Shield Logo and displaying it, Licensee acknowledges and agrees to these Terms.
