ATJustice Attorney Registry Terms & Conditions

These Terms and Conditions (“Terms”) govern participation by attorneys in the ATJustice Attorney Directory (“Directory”), operated by ATJustice, PBC (“ATJustice,” “we,” or “us”). By submitting a registration form or seeking inclusion in the Directory, you (“Attorney”) agree to these Terms.

Purpose of the Directory.
ATJustice provides a free, public-facing directory of attorneys intended to help members of the public identify and contact licensed lawyers. The Directory is an informational resource only.
Eligibility.
Any attorney who is licensed and authorized to practice law in the United States may apply for a free Directory listing. Eligibility to apply does not guarantee acceptance or continued inclusion.
No Guarantee of Listing; ATJustice Discretion.
Submission of a registration form does not guarantee inclusion. ATJustice retains sole and absolute discretion to approve, decline, suspend, remove, or decline to renew any listing.
By way of example, ATJustice may decline or remove a listing if:
- License status cannot be verified
- Attorney fails to respond to ATJustice communications
- Attorney is subject to disciplinary proceedings or sanctions
- Users report unsatisfactory experiences
- Listing information is inaccurate or outdated
- ATJustice otherwise determines listing is not appropriate
Renewal of Listings.
Listings may be subject to periodic renewal, including annual renewal. Failure to complete renewal requirements may result in removal.
Attorney Representations and Obligations.
Attorney represents and agrees that:
- All submitted information (including credentials, rates, fee arrangements, and pro bono interest) is accurate and current
- Attorney will promptly update changes to license status or practice details
- Attorney will comply with all rules of professional conduct and advertising rules
- Attorney is solely responsible for the content and compliance of the listing
No Endorsement; No Attorney-Client Relationship.
Inclusion in the Directory does not constitute endorsement or recommendation by ATJustice. Use of the Directory does not create an attorney-client relationship between ATJustice and any attorney or user.
No Client Screening or Qualification.
ATJustice does not screen or qualify clients and bears no responsibility for client actions or suitability.
Client Ratings and Reviews.
ATJustice may permit users to submit ratings, reviews, comments, or feedback (“Reviews”).
Attorney acknowledges that:
- Reviews are third-party content
- ATJustice does not verify or endorse Reviews
- Reviews do not reflect ATJustice’s views
- ATJustice bears no responsibility or liability for Reviews
Publication and Moderation of Reviews.
Attorney expressly consents to the public display of Reviews associated with the listing.
ATJustice may, but has no obligation to, moderate or remove Reviews. ATJustice has no duty to investigate or resolve disputes regarding Reviews.
Disclaimers; No Warranties.
The Directory is provided “as is” and “as available.” ATJustice disclaims all warranties, express or implied.
Limitation of Liability.
To the maximum extent permitted by law, ATJustice shall not be liable for indirect or consequential damages.
ATJustice’s total aggregate liability shall not exceed $250.
Indemnification.
Attorney agrees to defend, indemnify, and hold harmless ATJustice from all claims arising from:
- The listing
- Any client engagement or attempted engagement
- Attorney’s legal services or conduct
- Reviews or other user-submitted content
License to Display Content.
Attorney grants ATJustice a non-exclusive, royalty-free, worldwide license to display Attorney-submitted content.
Modification or Discontinuation.
ATJustice may modify or discontinue the Directory at any time.
Changes to Terms.
Continued participation after updates constitutes acceptance.
Governing Law; Venue.
These Terms are governed by Pennsylvania law. Venue lies exclusively in Pennsylvania State Court in Allegheny County, Pennsylvania.
Miscellaneous.
These Terms constitute the entire agreement regarding the Directory. Questions regarding these Terms and Conditions or notifications of any errors should be directed to info@atjustice.org.
